Specifically, Rodopi Development Agency creates, supports, coordinates, implements, and manages local development initiatives that respond to the needs of public and private entities in the prefectures of Rodopi, Xanthi, and the wider region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace through the operational programs of the CSF and other national and European programs.

Since its establishment, Drama Development has become a powerful voice, using studies and specific arguments to establish the view that the mountainous nature of the prefecture is not a disadvantage but, on the contrary, its strong comparative advantage, if linked to its unspoiled nature and the quality of its local products. Consequently, it proceeded with the implementation of specific measures, actions, projects, and activities, and the results are already beginning to be visible.
